Announce yourself on the carpools as soon as possible, and thing to follow the following advises
To ensure the success of carpools, and the greatest possible economy for all of you:
- use all the same interface for each country, in order to find you all.
- VERY IMPORTANT: If you have a car, but prefer to do car-sharing as a passenger, past experiences have shown that if you don’t declare your car, you will end up having to take it, but alone! To succeed in finding yourself a full car, what works best is:
- Declare your car
- Continue to approach other drivers as a passenger
- Then, hopefully you won’t need one of your cars
Otherwise, if you subscribe only as a passenger, you may end up on your own in your car.
Carpool Interfaces
We use an interface for each country or continent. We chose an interface that allows us to search by DESTINATION ONLY, without imputing your place of departure (This is a technical benefit, as it allows you to do a search which doesn’t limit you to one destination, and then you can see all the different routes possible including those passing a logistical facility or friends you may have to see etc.)
